Philipp Schuster, 25 years old.

 

Growing up in a modern city - Frankfurt am Main, Germany - I was always interested in art and inspired by architecture. These interests eventually triggered my enthusiasm for fashion, and I continue to be extremely passionate about it.

 

For that reason, I decided to pursue a career in fashion and started studying International Fashion & Management at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute in 2017. During my studies I specialized in product development, buying and merchandising.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to go to Ho-Chi-Minh-City, Vietnam as the only student from my year and study at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) for one semester. After successfully finishing my graduation project, for which I researched "the impact of collaborations on the avant-garde fashion world" and was graded with a 9 (out of 10), I started an internship with Antwerp-based designer Cedric Jacquemyn.

 

I have recently finished the Master's program in International Fashion & Luxury Management at the Institut Français de la Mode with an internship at Christian Dior Couture and was awarded the "cum laude" distinction.
